Community
Unveiling creates community for young women, in grades 8-12, and with incarcerated women in San Diego County. We believe there is power in unity and power in numbers. We want girls and women to know that they are not alone.
Unveiling also has a presence in India and Mexico. Young women from America are trained to teach the same truths that we teach at our American conferences to the young women in India and Mexico. In the local schools of India and at orphanages in Mexico, our girls share what they have learned through Unveiling (using cultural sensitivity and understanding) with their new friends. It is a beautiful vision of unity and empowerment!
